Fastpaced Metal-tune!

A song I wrote a couple of years ago that I remade some days ago.

It's mixed in Headphones and might sound muddy.. at least im afraid that it sounds muddy.. I don't know..

I like it man, Considering you say you mixed em only through your cans, thats pretty impressive sound. Liking the drums a lot, what Plugin/effects you use for the drums, as well as the actual sounds?

I used DFH Superior for the drums. Sonor kick with Pearl 3 snare.
I use Waves SSL Channel for almost every drum channel. I made a copy of the Kick and put drumagog on there with the Sneap Kick thats on this forum and blended it in with the original. Pretty modest though. Perhaps 30%.
I used the SSL Channel on both the snare channels and hade a FX channel set up with Waves Rverb.

All the drumtracks were sent to a group channel and i put a Waves C4 Multiband Comp on there to thighten them up a bit.

Im glad you guys dig it!

For guitars I used my trusty Podxt with Metal bundle. 4 tracks. Two with the 5150 sim and two with the Big Bottom.

Bass was recorded throu the Pod bud with no FX so I got a clean signal. Then I used another great sim, Amplitube SVX. A really great sounding Bass rigg-sim.

Sounds really nice. Really good job with the drums! Propably best DFH programming i've ever heard! Guitars sure sound like podxt at times... If you could just record a couple of guitars with a real amp & cab, you might get even better results. Bass sounds really nice.

Mix doesn't sound muddy to me...good job. I know it was DFH..but the hi hats and cymbals always sounded weird to me with those programs.

But the coolest thing to me is the song..awesome song..good flow and arrangement!
