I know you guys are probably sick to death of seeing youtube videos of guys playing guitar and with 3.5 million page views a bet a lot of you have already seen this kid but for those of you that haven't.... he was 15 when he recorded this. His name is Fernando Miyata. He is Brazilian. Humble pie anyone???

i remember when a i saw this video, and read the comments, "you are great on the guitar, but LoL at your weight", haha is funny, but come on, what if he´s fat, haha

God do I hate that tone, but bitchin' music and playing (and yes, I have seen this before, a LOOOONNGG time ago)

First off, he aint that fat....

Everyone had it worked out like he's a butter ball....

Anyone ever heard of Shawn Lane?

Im guessing he was close to 400 pounds before he died.

But he was one of the greatest shredders and argued to be one of the fastest of all time.

Either way, the kids got more skill than most.

I'm just glad it's not that cocky skinny kid who sips his coffee while he plays, does really fast neoclassical tunes, and looks around his room like he's bored and everyone should worship him.

whats more impressive is the kid has a good grasp of composition , tones and effects...instead of the usual young dude that plays "licks" with absolutely no song or structure behind it....cool vid!!!

I'm allowed to call him fat because....well......I'm fat. Just like I would be able to call retarded because...well....I'm, wait.... :p

i think his tone is great! its great to see someone shredding like that with single coils. it takes alot of skill... especially with a more mid gain tone like that. i see hes been listening to some greg howe.

He might be good, but im sorry, im not that impressed by this.
Sure, he beats the shit out of me, but i feel that the only thing that is really impressive with this is that he has a different style from other guitarists.
I have heard so many greats out there, both in real life and on youtube, and this guy wont come close to any of them in a long time. But what is interesting is what some of you guys already said, he has an interesting style, and he actually uses effects instead of abusing them(harhar).

Hehe, when i was 15 i wasnt even playing guitar. :heh:
But i dont like to think about the persons age unless they are younger than 13, sence you have freakishly small fingers at that age. :p

For me, the music is good or it's bad, the age is irrelevent. If I'm factoring in age, I'm judging novelty not musical value.

That said, I think this kid, age aside, is still pretty good, I like what's he's doing.
