first of all, this is not a metal thread. second, you better realize that calling goth a movement made up of "gay trend kids" is the very same as saying metal fans are just a bunch of complete satanist rednecks.

My absolute favourite is nowadays SOL INVICTUS... It has feeling what is so rare today... Another great band is CURRENT 93, their "All Pretty Little Horsies" is my all-time favourite... Other good bands are Elend, Dead Can Dance, Cure, Sisters of Mercy, Depeche Mode, Fields of the Nephilim etc. I think that there is no use to buy these "new" goth records, because for example Sisters... and Fields... have done everything good in this genre already...
