SO lets hear it folks.

I have to vote The Legacy. For both catagories :) I would love to hear Aja singing those lyrics out. Seem perfect for her.

Well that and the very very close tie: Lord of Light.

Right now I'd say Brighter just do to Steve's playing on that one and the overall rhythm of it.

Gotta get a copy in the truck where I spend most of my listening time.

I really am liking Longest Day more and more. The way the foreboding intro builds then explodes is awesome. I think Bruce really shows his stuff on this one.

I am really anxious to hear from the Maidens with their opinions. Where y'all at ladies????

Wait, I know Linda is gonna announce they are debuting a new song to tease us...:loco:

Its hard to get into it when each song is like an 8 minute average. I like short songs I guess.

Get rid of that intro and mid-section and Lord of Light is the best on the album

I don't mind long songs (ROTAM is one of my very favourites) but when they're ALL that length, it gets a bit annoying I guess. That's one reason i don't like Dream Theater as much as I should, their songs just go on and on and on and on..... o_O

It is a question not of duration but whether it sounds too long. ROTAM is an epic but it doesn't seem long. Neither does Longest Day.

Brighter has a bit too many repetitions in one section but overall I don't think any songs on this really go on and on and on..........

Go to a blues jam if you want to see on and on and on and on and on and on andonandonandonandonandonandonandonandonandonandonandonandonandonandonandonandonandonandonandonandonandonandonand:zombie::zombie: :zombie: :zombie:

At least for the rhythm sections.

I have to agree there. To me alot of these songs seem like they're 8-9-10mins long just for the sake of it. We needed more punchy songs like Different World on it to break it up I reckon.

i would have to say that i like :
all of it. i don't have a particular favorite. (although i've listened to these colors don't run more than the rest of the disc) i of course have liked pretty much everything maiden has done since i first heard killers back in 83.

nut anyway, yeah. i'd like to hear the Maidens do a singing of benjamin breeg...but thats just me.

This is a tough question, cause the new album is so brilliant....but...hmmm...

The Longest Day
Brighter Than A Thousand Suns
Lord Of Light
For The Greater Good Of God
The Pilgrim

This is THE album that the best and the weakest song of the
album don't differ too much. It's really very surprising in that sense.
I fell in love with the main parts of the Longest day.Bruce wrote
for lines and lines amazing lyrics. The vocal melody kills.
