blackwater park i love the cover of.... orchid is beautiful.... i like most of katatonia's and radiohead's covers as well!
on a side note, does anyone else find that they dont like bands/singers/entertainers/etc that put pictures of themselves on the front cover?
i dunno why but it always turns me off when i see the actual artist on the cover, because to me the cover forms part of the product, and the artists' faces shouldnt be part of the product... they should only appear somewhere near the end of the booklet to show who created the product.
and the entire pop industry has their pretty faces on the covers so that doesnt help with my opinion!
then again maybe im weird, coz if i ever made a movie i would NOT have a title, or actors/directors names showing up on the screen at the start of the movie, i think that just wrecks the intros. And if i made a television show i wouldnt have a theme song. hmm

Favourite cover would have to be either Opeth's Morningrise or The Mothers of Invention's We're Only in it for the Money (the Sgt. Pepper parody cover). For album artwork (all told) I've seen nothing that compares to Devin Townsend's Terria. Let's all bow before Travis Smith...

I agree Yayo, I hate waiting for all the name listing at the beginning of the movie, if anyone cares they will wait until the end and watch the credits while everyone else leaves the theater, the commercials usually resolve any doubt anyways. And if I had talent and made an album I wouldn't put myself on the cover.
