Favourite Soundtracks?

Given how incredibly fucking AMAZING Skyrim's soundtrack is, I'm keen as tits to try and find something as stirringly powerful in the realm of soundtracks to games/film/whatever. I've always loved Jeremy Soule's work, anyone know of similarly awesome composers?

I like Matt Uelman's work in Diablo 1/2 and Torchlight. I also like the vanilla World of Warcraft music, and the Warcraft 2 soundtrack is especially impressive considering its all MIDI.
Jeremy Soule also did Total Annihilation which also has some good music.

I´ve always liked the themes from GTA, Castlevania, Golden Axe, Streets Of Rage 1, Sonic 1, Street Fighter 2, Vampire Bloodlines and Max Payne. But if there´s one that really stands out is the soundtrack from Halo. Everything on it just SCREAMS "you´re saving the universe", even the mellow ones like Never Forget.

A fantastic OST for an equally fantastic game.


Such an amazing OST, complete with some of the best video game themes EVER! Too bad it was released on the PSP, it could never do the audio justice. The game was pretty amazing too, kinda flew under the radar.
