Well, I guess it is official. It's also fucked up too. I just got the DIGITAL CONNECTIVITY VHS and all seemed well among the Fear Factory camp and Burton himself talked about the next Fear Factory album. I liked all FF albums (except for the remixed shit) with my favorite being Soul Of A New Machine, Demanufacture/Obsolete (tie), and then Digimortal (in my opinion the most commercial) but Acres of Skin was a return to Soul Of A New Machine era stuff. They were a good band. It seems to me that some half-way decent good bands tend to break up. Examples: Kyuss, Trouble, Living Colour, Fear Factory. I hope Nevermore, Testament, and some form of Death/Control Denied continue and don't breakup.

oh well. if they continued in the direction of digimortal they would have been a total loss anyways. i think digimortal is pretty much crap. the other ones are decent, and they put on a good live show, but not really one of my favorites or anything.

Digimortal was crap... So was Soul of a new machine... I hate those vox... especially the 'spoken' bit at the start of "Martyr". How fucking sad is that??

Obsolete and Demanufacture are classics though, i love BOTH cds.
