lots of stuff has happened over the past week.....

Here is a quick run down of things on where they are at.....

Breakneck Pace have canceled.....the replacement band will be announced very soon. A Midwest band finally.

Nick Bowcott will now join Grim Reaper on stage. I think it is just for a few select songs.

There is a mystery band playing on Friday opening slot on the main stage. You will all need to get here early to see who it is...you will regret not getting there early.

The hunt for the replacement band for Hallows Eve is on. Once they are announced we may have something extra planned then as well. We may add one or two more bands that night to the second stage up till the headliner.

Once the final line up is set. The after party thing will get worked on.

Pre Party is 99.7% going to be at The Mutiny again. I will post info once it is confirmed. Last year was a lot of fun to just relax and socialize. It gets hard at the fest with so much happening. This is a great way to get a lot of the socializing done without loud music playing as well. Last year we were blessed with warm weather so you could hang outside...with the weather now...it could still be snowing at festival time.

If you haven't bought tickets yet...do it soon. Reggies will be handling all tickets sales within a few weeks...the ticket price will go up then so if you want a cheaper ticket...now is the time.

Vendors will also all be announced soon. I am pretty sure it will be the same as last year with possibly one more new one now.

Jeff Black, Vince Doak, Collin, and I are going to be sharing a hotel room at the South Loop Hotel. It's officially going to be the party room of the weekend. All are welcome for shitty beers and Manilla Road sing-a-longs

As long as the shuttle from Reggies to the Hotel is running, I plan on being there with a thousand beers in me.

I don't think the shuttle isnt going to the hotel. Just a warning as well.....don't be stupid at the show like that guy at Alehorn. You will be booted out. Anything to effect the fest / Reggies relation will not be tolerated at all. Just letting you know now. Last year a few incidents ocured which could have messed things up so this year there is a zero tolerance policy.

Dude, the hotel is a 10 (15 if you're wasted) walk in a straight line from the venue, haha. I remember helping Gatekrashor haul their merch and walking with Bob and Jeremy back to the hotel last year. At least, I think that's how it happened

yeah it is a very short walk. Even if you got a cab it would be 5 bucks at most.

Don't worry. I don't plan on being "that guy" at Alehorn. I don't smuggle in a massive bottle of vodka and down the whole thing in seconds.

why? you said they sucked at Judas Priest when we saw them.

LOL - Yes they did!!!
I was totally just joking.
I have little interest in ever seeing WS again, unless they advertised that they would be playing multiple tracks from Burn or Stormbringer.

Anyhow, while not the biggest WS fan, I am still glad I got to see Coverdale live once, given that I am a fan of his work with Purple.

Both he and Glen Hughes have expressed interest in doing a Purple tour if Blackmore would be up for it, which he wouldn't be!
