at 1:05 they're trying to get feed back from the guitar.

Could someone let me know if i understand it correctly,

They blast the guitars through the headphones, then get the string vibrating and then just hold the headphones around the pick up to try to get it to feedback?

Retarded ... just turn up the monitors or your PC speakers and it will work ... ughhh friggin noobs

ok now that I watched the vids .... lol

Thats not what Joey is doing at all ... hes using the soundwaves of the headphones to vibrate the strings to get more sustain. Its like having a sustainer pickup in on the guitar..... this is actually a GREAT idea. I have used it a few times :)

Go Joey!

ok call me retarded, but i still dont understand how to go about this. ive been wanting to pull this feedback number for a while, but didnt think it was possible with ampsims. all you do is hold the headphones up to the strings? so confused :err:

I saw a video with Michael Wagener recording a band in his studio, what he did was he had the guitarist touch the headstock of his guitar against the top of the monitor, so the vibration/resonation from the monitor further increased the feedback from the guitar.
