Fender Jazz Bass 24

Anyone have any reviews on this bass or have heard them live? Musicians friend has a clearance on them for $584 and they list for $1000. For an American model with 24 frets and Seymour Duncans it seems like to good of a deal to pass up. This is one of the few basses with no online reviews so I thought I'd ask the bass clan here. Thanks

I picked one up at GC one day. It was Korean made and so back bowed it was unplayable except at the 24th fret. Can't judge much by 4 notes.

FWIW I hate the Jazz bass ergonomics so I am very biased against them. However an unplayable setup isn't bias.

If it's made in Korea I won't bother. Maybe another brand might be ok If it's Korean but not Fender. USA or bust. I figured just by the list price that it was American.
