FFX Piano Collection

[Blind Guardian]

Maybe an odd rec but if you like classical piano music you really should hear this album. Trust me the music sounds nothing at all like it's from a video game, it sounds like it could have been written 250 years ago by some famous composer. The whole album is like a complete flow, it's great to listen to in your bed with headphones. If you're just reading this and haven't heard it you have no idea how intricate the music is. Anyone heard it?

there's quite a few of these, they're usually cool. not sure i've heard the one for FFX though.

i still prefer the originals in most cases mind you

the ff7 music is so so incredibly fucking good, seriously. arguably the most crucial aspect of why that game's such a masterpiece.

FF had the greatest music. Seriously. I think FFX had one of the best sound tracks. The music when you're on that snowy mountain (can't remember the name) is fucking bone chilling.

Never really liked the FF games but I listen to the STs more than pretty much any other video game music, asides perhaps Homeworld (definitely my favourite) and Silent Hill.

So I got interested (really like the original soundtrack) and downloadded it. How do you guys tag it? as FFX Piano Collection? Or with the Arranger or with both the Arranger and player or with original composer too? (Need to have the right tag for last.fm ).

I'm not 100% sure but i think every song is played by a different person, don't know if it's something similar with the compositions.

I enjoy the FF music. You might like Akira's Silent Hill music as well.
