I voted for Lars of those two.

Some other nordic names could be Skallagrim, Grim, Thorgeir, Tor, Brage, Arngrim, Arner, Bodvar, Brynolf, Geir, Gissur, Gorm, Guttorm, Gylfe, Harald, Nidudd, Odd, or Torgrim. But those names are even extremely rare here, so nevermind I guess:)
 
Lars, of course! :p It´s a rather common name in Sweden, in fact my father is named Lars and I have it as second name after him too.

Another cool and uncommon name I like is Torkel.

but Filip with the meaning of 'friends of horses' sounds very nice.
