actually, it depends on what era the latin was spoken in. Medieval and Church latin moved towards the english "v" or german "w".

of course, as it's a Julius Caesar quote (You-LEE-Us KAI-sar) he would have pronounced them like the English "w"

Most of my studies were in ancient latin, but yes I had heard that was well.
