Finally found out how to record my 5150 combo!

Made a quick sample for y'all using my good buddy Ryan's AWESOMETIME impulse! I'm so fucking excited on recording this amp! It's the first tube amp I've ever been able to record (always been stuck with my shitty toneport..)

lemme know how it sounds!

sounds alittle thin, could use some more beef to the low end

The overall character is cool though it totaly could be turned into a beasting tone.

Well, it'd be a bit better with some bass recorded Usually I substitute bass in my songs with some boosting to 81hz

I'd ad a tad more gain and lows to that.

It is super thin man. Even with the bass it would probably still sound thin. Add some of them lows man!! Great character though.

This could sound cool if you track it quad: 4 times the same in different pannings.
The sound right now is extrem thin and not punchy enough.

It´s also extrem loud. Did you put a limiter on it?
Try to track it at -10dbfs
sometimes less volume works better

I like it bro! Has that awesome 5150 grind to it. It is a bit lacking in the lows and could use a little less dist/more mids, but I quite like it!

flatterd. good job jess, yeah its kinda weak on its own but thats just my taste, you know how we differ i like my dxc mids you like your 80s bay thrash tone ;D fyi that will kill in the mix
