Hey guys,

Haven't been here in over a year but I thought I'd post this up.
As some of you are aware, I've been working hard on this bad boy for nearly two years and it was finally released yesterday!

You'll find the whole production a bit more loose and organic than your standard release these days; I'm sure it'll rub some people the wrong way but we're happy.

Inside info:
Mix was done by Adam Merker at Studio Anders Debeerz in Brisbane.

Guitars:
Mixture of Parker Fly, Musicman Axis, and LTD and an old, lovely Ibanez acoustic. All drop C (woohoo, 90s!)
1 track each side.
TS808 and an 80's Marshall Guv'nor into 5150 into Mesa 4x12 with a 57, Rode NT2 and Shure SM7b, I believe, as well as some high end colour added from a Dual Rec into Mesa 4x12 with a 57.

Bass:
Spectre 5 string, mixture of plectrum and finger playing.
Amps were a mixture of a TC Electronic and Ampeg rig, as well as running the top end through a similar guitar chain (5150 and Mesa).

Vocals:
All Shure SM7b

Drums:
All natural bar the kicks. There was a couple of room mics involved.

Tech stuff aside, I hope you enjoy!

Sounds good man. The production is 'spacious', everything can breathe, quite refreshing when there's a lot of dissonant chords and unusual time signatures.
