I'm not a huge fan of Firewind, as a matter of fact I started with the band because of Apollo, and the last album is damn boring. So I guess this clears the fact for me I'm going to save money on that band from now on.

Yup, I'm sad about this. I was debating driving 4 hours to Toronto to see Firewind and Turisas, but now I doubt I will. A shame because he was my favorite singer they've had. I wouldn't mind if Chitty came back, but I doubt he will.

To be fair, I liked Kelly on the Outworld album, but it won't be the same without Apollo.

Saw Firewind live a year or so ago. Mats Leven was on vocals, he's an awesome vocalist but it still was a very boring show (could also be because Wolf opened and they were about a zillion times better). Pretty sure Kelly won't lift the band higher either, although I love his work in Outworld, Epysode, Beyond Twilight, ... Epysode is recording a new album btw !

Not sure if I bought Obsessions in 11' or 12' but I do know I played this cd to death!
