first paid job!

not final (few drum glitches, and missing some vox at the end) but i'm dang proud of it!
yes, i should be posting this on the sturgis forum -.- but lemme know whatcha think.

gearwise, mostly free crap (rea plugs, freeverb, gvsts, ferricTDS[awesome plug btw], LeCto, etc.)
and yea.. podfarm, slate drums, sturgis cymbals.

Sounds good man! Only complaint I have is that I think the guitars are maybe a bit too loud, they pop out too much, that was my first thought.

No I do not have any professional experience/background.

Guitars are severely undergained and should be edited tighter for this kind of music. Vocals sound really good though, nice work on those.

Kick/Snare could be louder and with more body (?)

Guitars are a tad loud and I would raise the cymbals just a bit but otherwise it sounds pretty good sir. That clean part sounded a bit like Silversun Pickups :P

I'm actually having this problem with my master compression. I think I'm smashing it a little hard and chopping off my transients, b/c when I bypass my master fader the punch and body is there

Definitely an attack/release problem I'm having

Well now your mix is more balanced, good work on the guitars but I think you raised the OHs too much hahaha. I meant just a hair :P
