First full production for another band - Techish Death

What band is it? I love the song and your production. Sounds very clear and tight.

Bump updated the OP with the final version, some minor tweaks. Some info:

Drums: 'Tracked' on my v-drums, using the Metal Foundry for cymbals, and Evil Drums for most of the shells. Nothing special on the mix side really, the usual shit. A super compressed Slate snare is blended in subtly.

Guitars: BC Rich with stock pickups into Axe-FX. Reamps from Lasse with Rackto blended in. A little touch of EQ from Nebula GML (great) and a bit of Decapitator in EMI mode

Bass: Ibanez with stock pickups into Sansamp BDDI and Guitar Rig 4. Standard stuff for processing, comp (Waves CLA), SSL X-EQ, and a touch of chorus. UAD Fatso for a bit of tape sat. on the buss.

Vocals: SM7 into Avalon pre / comp / EQ. Lots of bussing since there are two guys that sound totally different, took a while to work on the EQ for each. Pretty good amount of distortion from Decapitator on these ones.

Master: FG-X as primary loudenator, with some of the other tools from Ozone. SSL bus comp, UAD massive passive for EQ, Nebula for saturation.

Overall going for an old meets new kinda mix, taking the Florida Death Metal heritage and giving it a bit more of a modern hi-fi edge.

I really like your mixing style. Very tight mix and clean sound.
Cool music.
If I were a dick I would tell you to make this snare sounds more natural, but I'm not :)

btw. your "Blog" link in your signature is wrong :)

Cheers man, thanks for the heads up on the sig too I'll fix that

This is bad-ass. I love what you did with the swells for the intro. The solo at the end turned out awesome as well.

Great Job on getting 2 different vocalists to sit this well in the mix.

Thanks!
