First mix, need comments

After reading these forums for a few months and recording my band i decided to post up one of our songs (this ones about 90% done). I feel like i can make this alot better but im not sure how. Also i realize the playing isn't top notch or anything, i'm only concerned about the tone and EQing

kick is way too loud (and could use more high end). guitars are pretty muddy. snare and cymbals sound extremely fake. and one thing to take into consideration is that playing cleanly and solid to begin with makes a HUGE difference in how it will ultimately sound. also, ease up on compression, mix sounds like its pumping/breathing a little too much.

lower everything, the limiter is dying and i hear lots of clipping, lower the kick, or maybe let it be there but slap a highpass in the low-end, try stuff, the tone isn't half bad, sounds evil, just needs a bit "less" stuff for me, cool song!

ya guitars were driving me crazy but then again i am using a shitty $100 one until my epiphone les paul gets fixed. drums i was expecting to sound fake i only have my E-kit and no MIDI input yet =(

once i get my guitar fixed and i fix kick and volume i'll repost this and it'll hopefully sound alot better.
