First Production for a band - Book Of Job

Hi Guys,

My first time recording a band.

I'm pretty new to this forum but the advice and knowledge I've encountered so far has been fantastic and a great help!

This is my friends band, only recorded this one song.

Hopefully recording their album with them next year

Pointers on any aspect of the production would be greatly appreciated!

The toms lack "smack", maybe more comp and a huge eq cut at like 400hz or something. Dial up the gain a bit on those guitars. Love this mix otherwise, great job

Hey thanks for the feedback, I'll have a play with the compression, that guitar gain and try the EQ cut you suggested

I agree with the above comments. I like the vocals on this though. What was the vocal chain if you don't mind me asking?

Terribly late reply on my part, sorry about that

The vocal chain was a Behringer B2 Pro Condenser to an M-Audio 610 interface.

Then just a bit of EQ, compression, reverb
