our band is about to record 2 demos, long story short, our 2nd guitarist was arguing that "real" recorded guitars sound like crap.
The files listed here are my FIRST try at recording a real amp through a cab, so please bear with me, constructive criticism is welcome.
Gear:
5150 MKII
Kitty Hawk Custom (Uberschall Style) 2x V30, 2x G12T75, X-Array
ESP LTD MH 400NT (81 & 85)
SM58 Clone
Tascam US-122 Interface
I recorded one track for each guitar and panned them 80L / 80R, no processing:
