"First Strike..." enhanced CD!

no... just short live clips, but there is one complete song . this will be on the "first strike" import, available in japan (and europe if i'm not mistaken).

sorry... you won't be able to download this footage. it's personally owned by the band, but they are sharing some of it with the fans on the enhanced cd!

p.s. what's *really cool* is that it includes almost everyone. from the old line up(s), to the new.

well, imports are always more... i'm not sure. the last time i remember cds from japan being 25-30 dollars???

Thats not bad, i may just get that version, and sell mine.

Why is it always the japanese versions that get killer stuff??? Fucking annoying, why can't they just make that as a regular release. The company is pissing down everybodys back that supports Testament, by buying the disc when it comes out! This a very annoying trend that has been happening way too long, and the most aggrevating thing about it is that Japanese imoprts cost a shitload of money for no other reason than it has extra stuff on them

I've said this countless times but Japanese albums have the extra stuff so that the people won't buy the cheaper european imports.

Yeah but why do they have to please the Japs more than they have to please us???? Who cares where they buy their cd's, and so what if an import is cheaper, why does that have to hurt us that they have a whack pricing deal???

*sigh* It is not the band's decision but the record company's.

Well for fucks sake do you really think I don't know that!!!!:(
When using the term "they" I was of course pointing at the corporate suits that are only trying to get more money.:yuk:

Halloooooooo Wake up and smell the dead rat in you brain!!!!
They only add that to the japanese edition so the japs have something to compete against the lower priced imports, which they get money for anyway. It is just giving the Japanese trade a boost, 'cause now they have something to export that others don't and thus they can charge a shitload for it, 'cause the real fan wants to own anything by there favorite band. So I am saying why not fuck the japs and give all countries the same treatment!!! Whys hould they be anymore special than us????

I just stated this to you in my first post. The japanese get the bonus because CDs there are more expensive than here and the CDs imported from Europe or USA are cheaper than the domestic ones.

Fucking aye, you're running around in circles here buddy. That's my initial complaint, who fucking cares if the japs can get a regular cd cheaper as an import. As long as they buy the CDs nobody should care. Instead they are using this issue to create special CDs for that market, that they then can sell as japanese import for even higher prices. And in the end it's the true fans that are being buttfucked by the record company, 'cause the real fan will buy it almost no matter what the price is, since it is special stuff by their beloved band and this is the only way the can get a hold of this special material. I say fuck'em let the japs buy the CD's like all other human beings, where it is cheapest. I buy records from the US as well, 'cause it's cheaper, so now we should get extra material on our CDs over here as well.

Who cares? The Japenese CD manufacturing industry cares!
Imagine the uproar in America if imported steel was cheaper than the local produce?

Oh wait.. you don't have to imagine that, it's fact.

I'm running around in circles because you don't seem to grasp the idead that the labels don't care about you, they care about the fact that you buy the albums and how much you pay for them. If they can't get much more with just one extra song from the band, of course they'll do it. And so will the bands since that way they get to release the stuff in Japan too and not just rely on imports.
