Also, do you think their fighting skills are going to be all Matrix-ed out? In the NoES and Ft13 movies, these guys would just come up and stab/swing, or some up behind you, etc etc. Nothing too fancy and nothing that anyone with any kind of fighting skill couldn;t avoid/deflect.
But if they're supposed to be all Satanized/supernatural, you'd figure they'd be able to pull off some shit a lot crazier than what the 1980s showed us. But Freddy in a freeze-and-rotate? I dunno, kind of inappropriate.

i think it would be incredible if there weren't extended fight scenes, but rather an intrusion of the respective cosms of each villain into the cosm of the other. unlikely, though.
