We're going to Florida to shoot a video for the song "Autumn Reflection." 
A much, MUCH larger scale then the "Pale Haunt" video... Full sets have been built recreating the CD artwork. There's a webpage with all the set building photos, and a journal of the work that's gone into it so far, but we'll make you guys wait to see it all until it's finished. This is the last big piece to the promotion of "The Pale Haunt Departure" CD, as June starts the recording of "T.N.R."

I think that it is the best in TPHD and also the most accesible song to the mainstream metal fans. Very good choice for the promotion of the band!

I have a very vivid mental image of the guys driving around Miami in a drop top. With Paul leaned back in the passenger seat, covered in gold chains and huge gold rings. And Larry flipping his pretty blonde hair in the backseat.

I'll give you a few bits of information about the video without ruining all the surprises...
We have been working on the concept with the director for a few months now. He had a treatment written up for us, and animated some of it through story boards. This is NOT a performance video, although they're a few short moments where a guitar is being played, or a vocal line or two is focused on... We wanted something VERY different, in the way it looks, as well as it's concept, and so far, it's been spot on. This has been so planned out, and so many sets have been built, the CD's artwork will come alive. Think of this as more of a 6 minute creepy movie, but combined with a music video.
We are only a 4 piece for this shoot, but since it's not a performance piece, it was not an issue at all.
I wish I could tell you more about it, because we've kept this quiet for so long, we really want people to be surprised. We'll post set pictures soon, but I don't expect the video to be finished with editing and such for at least a month.

Day 3 is over, and we (the band) finished our scenes today. Lots to talk about, we're going to start an official thread about the video with updates on monday.
We had our after party tonight at a bar in Ft. Myers Beach. The director and lots of the crew came, and we did lots of drinking, eating, and general nuttiness. We made quick friends with a band there called the Oysters, and they invited us up to perform, so the crew and the other kind folks witnessed an impromptu performance of Autumn Reflection, basically acoustic.
right now... too much beer... too much vicodin... must sleep...
