oh, i thought you used some kind of buttery dough. soy cheese is easy to find and use, though, and fake sausage (or hamburger, or whatever you use) crumbles are actually pretty good!

well i am sure there is vegan dough i could use too or learn how to make from scratch. i am just saying that no one should go through life without having one of my strombolis and that i am sure a vegan version would be just as much a piece of blissful heaven as my usual ones.

pizza dough is usually vegan. soy cheese is an option but typically the only kind that really melts well has casein in it so it's not TROO vegan...
i don't know though... i've made some pretty killer vegan pizza before with just good crust, homemade tomato sauce, veggies, and baked tofu. i actually made it specially for the arctopus public access tv interview... which i deviously half-turned into a cooking show. ya!
