what does everybody else think?I do not yet have a copy as I live in the States and it's not being released here until 9/28.
How does it compare to recent releases such as Killing Ground and Metalhead?

I have been a fan of Saxon since 1979 (yes i'm old)This is definately one of their best albums,the production is great.the guitars are set on stun,and Biffs voice is top notch.Just buy it when it comes out you wont be disappointed.If you get a chance to see them live dont miss them.

I got my copy today but did not yet have a chance to listen to it. I will do that tomorrow... for sure!

I'll listen to it a few more times before commenting, but I think I pretty much agree with what has already been said on here. The album is a 'listener', and there are some very strange lyrics and singing! But on first couple of listenings, it is a good album, not the best, but it keeps up the recent high standard we have come to expect from the lads.
I got my CD yesterday and have listened to it about.... Oh, I would say 20 times!
I think I probably go along with what Paxo has said, but wait for my review in the next couple of days. I'm going to dissect this Baby!
The prime thing is that this album is a 'Grower' and they are always the best!
It has also confirmed my opinion that Saxon are the Dogs Bollox when it comes to ROCK!

Metalhead was a 'Grower' too. I didn't really like it at first, well not all the tracks anyway, but now I love it. I am pretty sure Lionheart will be the same. One thing is for sure, the album is as heavy as f**k!

i've listened to Lionheart at least 10 times now and it just keeps getting better and better one of my favourite saxon albums now,and it's as heavy as an elephants ball bag too!
