Question... If by some miracle you happen to have Röde NT2A, can compare and record something? I might be interested if it sounds significantly better on vocals.
I do not have the NT2A unfortunately. I do have the NT1 though and the Neumann is definitely better, no question about it (but that is to be expected regarding the price difference too). I do not know how the NT2A compares to the NT1.
The TLM 103 is just awesome on female vocals, I talked with Andy about it and he said it was his go-to mic for that (not Angela's type of vocals of course, but more like Cristina's on the Megadeth album).

If you could do a short clip of the TLM103 vs NT1A, that would be great. The NT2A is very similar but a bit less nasal than NT1A and has the C414 style controls (highpass, pad and pattern).
