I honestly do not know the value of this item.

I currently see one for sale on eBay with an asking price of $249.

I am not expecting anything even CLOSE to that amount.

No, unless it's against the rules of Ultimate Metal, then we would take it down. Otherwise we are pretty lax about trades/sales on the forum. We're not the official Nightwish forum after all, in which case I would have to close your topic.

Just curious, why would such a thread be closed on an official NW forum? Certain;ly not illegal to resell a legitimate, non-bootleg, release.

I'm not really sure, it's been so long since I've seen a topic with anyone trying to sell their stuff that I can't remember. Probably to cut down on spam or things like that. I think if people want to trade/sell privately, they can do so.

I've never really been one to question the mod rules at Nightwish forum, considering the band pays for the website and forum and it's theirs to make whatever rules as they see fit.

Most bands seem to detest allowing their official forums to turn into fleamarkets. EBay and sites like that are for the purpose. Also record labels have a say in this, it's not their best interest to let the band officially advance second hand sale of their own products instead of new copies. Business is business.

I see your point. That certainly makes sense.
If I am a band, and see fans purchasing discs second hand, I might say, "Wait, buy it from me!!!"

Though, I doubt the band has out of print items for sale still.
