For the Chicago people

That was the first Headbangers Ball tour.^^^

First show at the Brawlroom for me was the Megadeth, Sanctuary, Warlock show in 88. Great F'n show!

Oh COOL!!!!!!!!!! Have to check this out later...bookmarked for now.....
First aragon show was my first rock concert - AC/DC headlining w/Pat Travers...1979

Songkick has a longer list (580 vs. 400 from the Aragon's site). All the way back to 1959 (Buddy Holly), and unlike the Aragon's site, they actually have more than 10 shows from the '00s listed. But the Aragon's list may be more complete from the periods where they DO have dates (for example, they show Megadeth playing 6 times there, while Songkick only has 4). So it would be cool if Songkick could suck in the data from the Aragon's site too.

What?? You seriously didn't know that?
It was the MTV Headbanger's Ball tour.
One of the best shows I have ever been to in my life!

Hey Jason, now I don’t know nomisofsiman but I don’t think he’s as old as you are (no disrespect, just saying). So he wouldn’t have known of this show without some post like this. I knew Helloween toured the states in the late 80's but I didn’t know it was that lineup. But then again, I was in 2nd grade when this occurred. I would have loved to seen this though.

And by the way, thanks for posting this link. It cool to remember the shows you've seen and the others you missed.

Watch it!!!!

I can understand not being old enough to be able to go.
What I meant by my post was that I always thought that tour was as widely known as the THRASH OF THE TITANS tour, for example.

Prior to that Helloween were on the HELL ON WHEELS tour with Grim Reaper and Armored Saint!!

 Yeah, I would've been about 5 years old at that point. I knew Helloween toured the states in the late 80s but had no clue in the slightest in terms of who they actually toured with. That's such a fucked up lineup, I'm still having trouble grasping that. Truthfully though, I hadn't really gotten into music, let alone metal until 2002/2003 and haven't gotten as hardcore into it until about 2005.

I've only seen one show there. Faster Pussycat, Y&T, Frehley's Comet on September 4, 1987

I still have yet to go to Aragon. For some reason or another I seem cursed when it comes to shows there. For the Gigantour with Megadeth, Bodom, High on Fire, etc. I was sick with the flu. For Rob Zombie last year, I had a family emergency. For Alice in Chains last month I stupidly forgot my ticket. Maybe I shouldn't even bother trying to get tickets for anything that's there in the future.

Wait..............what??????????????

I want to make sure I understand.

Did you go to the Aragon but forgot your ticket at home???

Or are you saying you forgot to get a ticket and it sold out?
