For the first time ever, NYC gets a metalfest! (Prognerds may be interested too!)

A lot of people are shocked when they find out years and years ago I loved bands like Deicide, Obituary, Napalm Death, Morbid Angel, S.O.D., Cannibal Corpse, etc.

I do still however like bands such as GOTHIC SLAM, NUCLEAR ASSAULT, WRATHCHILD AMERICA, DARK ANGEL, etc (and of course more known bands like OVERKILL, TESTAMENT, SEPULTURA, EXODUS, etc).

Just showing that you can not like this fest, and still have diverse musical tastes in Metal. Hell I have diverse tastes in other genres when I'm in the right mood. I'm probably the only forumer who owns a CASIOPEA DVD!

Municipal Waste is best experienced in a 300 or smaller person club. Anything bigger takes away from the show, unfortunately. Good times though.

Actually The Gramercy is like 500 cap I think! It looks big because it has theater style seats in the back, but the floor itself is rather small. It basically looks like a movie theater haha!
