I think it depends upon the person and the kind of hair you have. Some people look better with long, some with short hair.
But I prefer a man with long (dark) hair myself. But he never ever should have longer hair than I have. ( fat chance of that happening anyway)

I must admit that I have a weakness for long-haired men..not all of them of course but especially at the metal concerts everywhere is full of them I can't decide at which one to look hhehe..I think long hair fits most of the men.. I agree with Blackwaternymph "longer the better" eheh

Cut my hair about 20cm lately, now it's till bit under my bra behind (he he) and now my Bf has longer hait'r than mine... but his hair is great, dark and a bit wavy, my hair is mouse-blond...
I always liked men with long hair (my first love also had it... I was 4 at the time and it was the actor Michael Pread, playing Robin of Sherwood, he he... and my second love was the singer of Europe as I was 6, he he) but there are also guys with short hair looking terribly sexy
Only case when I find short hair better is when it begins getting thinner and thinner... but some just keep it anyway (question of habit, or getting nostalgic?)

I can imagine so Dreamcell. My post was a joke as Metallica cut their hair and their music was not so good anymore. It reminded me of the story of Samson. I am sure that their hair length does not effect their abilitiy to play and write songs.
