For The MELVINS Fans....

in my opinion: Lysol (edit: this one is self-titled these days)

But might I recommend trying (A) Senile Animal if you have not already, as it features Jared and Coady from Big Business as one half of the band, and is definitely the highlight of their recent work.

Stoner Witch is generally considered their best, otherwise.

Jared and Coady have been owning my soul lately. I remember hearing A Senile Animal and it starting off really f;in good but then kinda starts to slip as the album went on. I'll give a whirl again.

Thanks for the others. I hear Gluey Porch Treatments? Too much sheeite!

Some tracks on (A) Senile Animal definitely stand out more than others. Civilized Worm, A History of Drunks, and then my favorites are at the end of the disc: A History of Bad Men and whatever comes after that.

Their discography is so expansive and changes around in style quite a bit , so everyone will say something different, no doubt.

Someday I will run out and buy every album they have.

To this day I only own Stoner Witch, though am quite familiar with Houdini.

One of the last things I did on Myspace before deleting my account whilst drunk + cackling was congratulate those dudes on joining the underwear butt shoveruppers.

Should probably catch them on tour, last time I saw the Melvins I was too young/dumb to recognize their genius.
