We are a technical/death/black/melodic/power/progressive metal band (actually, we just call our style Romantic Metal) and we need just about the most psychotically wicked drummer out there. We've tried out dozens of good drummers over the last 3 years and no one has fit the bill yet.
We need someone who is of the skill level of Richard Cristy, Gene Hoglan, Sean Reinert, Asgeir Mickelson, Flo Mournier, Jan Axel Von Blomberg (Hellhammer), Trym, Van Williams, Mike Portnoy, Jason Rullo, Martin Lopez, Nick Barker, etc...
Essentially, you need to be completely comfortable with odd time signatures, complex musical structures, polyrhythms, heavy syncopation, blast beats, extreme double bass, open/close hi-hats and ride drills, small cymbal work, etc
We are professional musicians and we need a professional skins-man. Only the most serious and motivated will be considered.
