SAIGON KICK Featuring JEFF SCOTT SOTO Announce Two April 2026 Shows For Florida​

"... Formed in 1988 in Coral Springs, FL, the original Saigon Kick line-up featured vocalist Matt Kramer, lead guitarist Jason Bieler, bassist Tom Defile, and drummer Phil Varone. Following Kramer’s departure in 1993 the band went through several line-up changes before reuniting briefly in 2012.

In recent years, Bieler has been doing shows with vocalist Jeff Scott Soto (Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Sons Of Apollo) keeping Saigon Kick’s music alive. Now, they have announced two shows for Florida in April 2026. Soto has shared the following message:

Allow me to add a little insight to this exciting outing we are embarking on…

For starters, 1/2 of the original lineup of Saigon Kick are still actively on this, the primary songwriter for all albums who took over as singer for the second phase of the band is there, and we are celebrating all of the music created during the band’s tenure.

I am NOT the new singer, replacing a / the singer, etc.; I am a guest fulfilling a bucket list of sorts playing with my friends and singing THEIR music with them hence why my name is added as a ‘feature.’

As bassist Chris McLernon continues to get through his personal matters, Stephen Gibb (who served as a touring member with the band a few times) is stepping up to play bass. We are not doing these shows with any ill will or disrespect to past / former members, this is a celebration of killer songs!

In the end, no venue or promoter would book this as the ‘Jason And Phil With Guests Jeff And Stephen Band’. It will carry the Saigon Kick name based on all I described and more. With that, both shows WILL sell out so this promo is to remind you all to grab tix now while you can…we cannot wait to hang and sing for ya!
