Well, Forbidden were never THRASH YOUR BALLS AGAINST THE WALL WITH POWER AND PAIN metal anyway. I think it's really great. Actually the title track might be #1 on my list, it has that awesome "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYES!!! STAAARE! WITH EMPTY BUT EEEVIL GLAAANCEEES!!!" part

Still sits at my #1 all-time spot. Twisted Into Form is metal perfection. Every song is the best, but Infinite and One Foot In Hell are probably my favorites.

A lot of old-schoolers prefer Forbidden Evil; I guess because it's sloppier, which appeals to old-schoolers for some reason.

You should also pick up Distortion, it's their 2nd best. Green is way different, still good, but hated by many.

"Infinite" is probably my favorite cause of the crazy riffing, but there's a lot to say for the title track with that awesome chorus melody. And yeah, awesome album, beats the piss out of Forbidden Evil - it might not have anything quite as good as the title track from the debut (which is one of the greatest thrash songs ever), but it's way more consistently good.

I was quite surprised when I first heard that chorus...the whole album is reasonably "progressive".

Man... Out Of Sight, Out of Mind is great, I love the chorus of One Foot In Hell, Tossed Away, Infinite... gotta dig the Death Angel back-ups.

One of Michael Rosen's best productions.

I remember the video for Step By Step. Lots of hair flaying about...

And I also remember seeing them on an episode of Hard n Heavy, that old VHS magazine that used to come out back in the day.... they were acting like they were digging thru a dumpster for food. Maybe that wasn't acting...

I don't particularly care for this band in general or this album. I haven't listened to Forbidden in a year or two though, so maybe I would have a higher appreciation for them now.
