Swedish metallers THE DUSKFALL have returned after an eight-year absence. The band, which features in its ranks former ENGEL singer Magnus Klavborn, is currently working on material for its fifth album. The CD will contain "11 tracks of old-school, melodic metal," according to a press release, and will be made available through pledges from the band's die-hard fans. The first instrumental teaser for THE DUSKFALL's upcoming album is available below. The band states: "[It was] recorded in our rehersal room, so nothing is how it will sound later. We just wanted to share what we have in store for you guys." The CD, which came out in Europe in October 2007 via Massacre, was recorded at Uppsala, Sweden's Dugout Studios (drums, vocals and the mix) by Daniel Bergstrand (IN FLAMES, DEFLESHED, DARK FUNERAL, BEHEMOTH, SOILWORK) and Promile Studios (guitars and bass) by Michael Hahne.
