No, Al is still is Savatage.

This sounds good, lets hope they get a vocalist that can sing :)

Yeah I can see it being Echobrainy roots rock or something like that unfortunately :(
Expect to hear "We played metal for 20 years its time for a break" or something similair :)

Im still interested in how it turns out though :)

Just in case you guys didn't know - Marty is back doing heavy stuff.

He recently tapped Deen Castronovo to play drums on a new solo album. Andif you know the style Deen plays I'd say it will be a great album.

Deen has been on a couple of Tony MacAlpine albums (Maximum Security and Premonition - Tony's best two albums!), Geezer (also G//Z/R) and that was heavy. He was also on Marty's Dragons Kiss.

.. and James Murphy's Convergence. Unfortunately the drum sound on that album is weak.

Sounds great, if they're gonna do heavy stuff. Is Deen just a session drummer? I only really know him from his session stuff. Is Marty's album gonna be heavy and fast like Dragon's Kiss, or crap elevator music like Scenes and Introductions?!
