Well why not, there are enough ex-Megadeth musicians to make 2 or 3. So who should be the singer?

Guitarist Chris Poland (pictured), best known for his work on MEGADETH's first two albums — "Killing Is My Business... And Business Is Good!" (1985) and "Peace Sells... But Who's Buying?" (1986) — has been confirmed as the lead axeman for the as-yet-unnamed new project featuring fellow former MEGADETH members Nick Menza (drums) and James Lomenzo (bass). The trio will hold its first rehearsal today (Saturday, November 1), with plans to release an EP in early 2015. According to Menza, Poland "already has six heavy original songs in the can that we will start working on next week."

Menza and Lomenzo's first jam session took place on June 25 at Menza's Disintegrator Studios in Studio City, California where they cracked through some of the old MEGADETH catalog along with some of their favorite METALLICA and LED ZEPPELIN songs.

Following the reissue of the entire MEGADETH catalog, Menza was invited to reunite with the band in 2004. Days after a reunion was announced, Menza was fired and replaced with Shawn Drover. MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine said that this was because Nick "just wasn't prepared."

Lomenzo joined MEGADETH in 2006 and appeared on two of the group's studio albums, 2007's "United Abominations" and 2009's "Endgame". He was fired from the band in 2010 and replaced with returning original MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson.

I wouldn't. :p Besides, Tate isn't into metal.

Barlow would be an awesome choice but he is in Maryland doing his cop thing and these guys are all in LA.

..you need a singer with a violent past that so

Can write lyrics well!!

Not half ass

After Pyramaze and Ashes of Ares, I'd rather not bother with any non Iced Earth Barlow projects.

I really like Lost Horizon, band included (but yeah the singer is the main draw). Tell me this isn't a fuckin fist pumpin epic of a power metal song, even if the song title makes no sense

I'm really picky about power metal too.

Yeah, that song blew me away the first time I heard it, and it's still my favorite from the album. A lot of power metal vocalists sound "samey", but good lord Daniel Heiman's voice is fucking amazing.

Setup - Sounds like the 2 thumbs down machine head new one

Utter crap.

Np....simple minds 2014 awesome

The dude from Hibria. Fuck yeah this band is so awesome and cheesy. It's like Dio meets Judas Priest meets Maiden meets old Helloween. No joke. First album is great, next album is awful, latest album is cool.

Hmm. I had a Hibria album from a few years ago, and I don't remember it sounding memorable. This is pretty decent though.

edit: hah, it's Blind Ride. Their most forgettable it seems.

Blind Ride was awful. The only one worse than that was The Skull Collectors, which was concept album about a troubled fighter pilot,   I'm not making this shit up. Only Brazil could match Germany cheese for cheese.

However, check this shit out right heah. Millennium Quest is fuckin' rad. No shit, their first album is great.
