There have been rumors that we did not want to continue playing together anymore but that is simply not the case," said Mullback. There are also many people who believe that we are not playing on the new SABATON album, ['Carolus Rex'], that it's the new band that recorded the tracks. But that's not true either. It is us.
So I wonder what really happened between Par, Joakim and the band members who left?
My guess is that the band members wanted more creative input.
Maybe, strange that they waited until this point in their career though...six albums released and they're on an upward slope in terms of popularity. And all four of them at once, over creative control? Not saying you're wrong, as it's a plausible explanation. I also wonder if heavy touring had something to do with it, but for all we know it could be a personality conflict or contract/compensation issue. My guess is that the band members wanted more creative input.
Interesting... Anthing with Nils is a blind buy for me anyway.
Sabaton finally got a real singer, yay!
And a somewhat better name.
Now all that's left for them is to get rid of all the other members and start writing songs that are worth anything.
At least they are on the right path finally

Sabaton music with NPJ vocals? Should be amazing if you ask me.
