Forum Awards?

Have you had them, or are you willing to try them? Basically, you hold nominations and votings for catagories such as Best Avatar, Best Signature, etc, etc.

Hmmm... it's an interesting idea actually... I'll put it to the admins, see what they think... might be a bitch to organise, but I'm sure our resident coding god Mark would be able to cobble something together... and since we're having a best signature section if it happens, I'm changing my sig to this...

Can I suggest that you hold these sort of things in seperate forums as a first? Test to see how they go, then try a big one...

That's what we did. I ended up creating a subforum to General Discussion and making about 30 threads there, all asking who you'd nominate for each award. Then we took all the nominations after 2 weeks and made polls with all the people who were nominated.
