Not that I'm really actively involved in any of these forums, but I regularly look through the In Flames, Dark Tranquillity and Opeth boards, and I've certainly noticed a lot of animosity between them, and it would be rather nice if everyone could just cut the bullshit. This isn't going to accomplish anything, I know, but I just felt like expressing my thoughts. It's not like there's any real damage involved, but I'd guess that some people might take shit personally, and I don't see the need to offend anyone because you don't agree with their outlook. So, I guess, to everyone: don't take anything personally. That is all.

Eh, I may get around to it. Not that it's going to change anyone's habits anyways, just wanted to get that out.

You're right, you won't change anything. People who participate in flaming etc. are presumably idiots. And it takes a LONG time to change them. Anyway, I don't feel these things are going on a lot here, so unless it becomes really annoying, I couldn't care less.

The Dark Tranquillity forum is basically "UH WE DONT WANNA BE THE OPETH FORUM", but there are some good discussions there.

ps. In Flames is definately better in my opinion. Jesters Race is an awesome album and so's Whoracle.
