What do you think of the tone?

The left channel is the Diezel VH ch.3 and the right Framus cobra lead ch. The center is the crunch ch. of the Cobra. Left & right tracks were boosted with an MXR 10-band. Everything through the Cobra cab w/greenbacks and miked with a 57+421 combo.

And the drums are just there for the guitars. Even the bass is just a DI. We'll be going to the studio in a week to record the drums.

Thanks. Interesting, we have songs that were influenced by Opeth, but I've never thought this song as "Opethish".

Well, sounds a bit mechanical and lifeless to my ears but the most annoying stuff is the crashes. They ring like hell and take too much space. I guess the mp3 compression doesn't help.

Ah, I thought you wre talking about the composition. Yeah, the cymbals are way too loud. I'm just too lazy to put some real effort to the drums. We'll record the real ones in a week anyway.
