FRAMUS FR 412 DRAGON ST

Anybody know if this cab is any good? I might be able to get one for cheap.

It has four Celestions Vintage 30s. 200 Watts/8 Ohms (mono), 2x100 Watts/2x16 Ohms (stereo). Made of 17 millimeter plywood. The retail prize for a new one is the same as for a Marshall MR 1960A (EUR 589 around here).

Would be pairing this with my Marshall JCM 800 2210.

If it has 200w/100w power I doubt it mounts v30s....they are 60W each (70w in some cases) so at least it has to have 240w....
Don't know if there is a special 50W version

I have the 2x12" Framus cab with V30 and I like is more than my Marshall 1936 cab.

Yeah, I thought so too! Took the info directly from the Thomann site though...

I have it and it sounds boxy when recorded, the casters come off when you lift it and the tolex is thin.

I remember reading that these are exactly the same as the Harley Benton cab's, just with different cosmetics.

Hmm, if that's true, I'm considering putting the V30's in the oversized 1936 2x12" cab... might be an improvement...

Never recorded one, but the few times I've played through one they've been a bit bright for my taste.

The clips I've heard of HB cabs sound better, actually.
