fred and i need to move

amanda, available june 1st is the apartment aysha and i wanted (but we can't move that early). it's in harlem, w. 116th street, bottom floor, one bedroom, ummm around 900-1000/month i think, pretty sizable for what i've seen for NYC 1-bedrooms. my friend (the one who used to work for AIDS action) lives on the third floor, and this is her best friend's apartment--she is moving to san francisco.

cause we can't afford to start paying rent in June while we still have leases 'til September in Boston. we might be able to have NYC jobs and suck up the having-two-leases thing starting in July, though.

I start my two lease deal in just over a week. the first months rent + security deposit + pet deposit gets sent off friday. man, am I broke.

I'll post pics of my new yard this afternoon if anyone wants to scope some possible new digs

hour commutes suck. i kind of miss the public transportation thing. something really nice about going from home to work with no vehicle/parking hassle. so that'd be an hour via public trans?

avi, i wanna see the new place.

we just finished the dual mortgage thing for 6 months- it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be, just because her old house was only like $650/mo mortgage.
btw, did i mention we closed on that old house last week? it's gone. i'm happy.
