Free "photoshop" like program for macs?

Seashore really does blow...Even just inserting text is a friggin abortion. You have to click a random spot and type it you cant preview it for shit. I already closed the program and am continuing the search

I used Gimp forever.

Then I got a student discount from college for Adobe CS4 designer pack. With Fireworks and Photoshop, I don't know how I ever lived with Gimp.

It's ok for a free program I suppose, but it has a very clunky interface and it's hard to navigate. It also takes forever to load for some reason.

I use GIMP on windows and it kicks ass :D Its slow to load though, and it takes a while to get used to it, while with Photoshop you can just load it and use it straight away :D

I ended up going with pixlr...Before I submit this to be printed what do you guys think of it

The "CDK Lighting" looks awkward... I would change out the font... or the colors... or something... but it needs a change.

and the focal point seems to be the truss with the lights and not your info... that should be changed too.

I recently tried GIMP at work on Windows. Installs fine and is easy enough to use. It doesn't have a CMYK-Mode though. That's a big con imo.

Is that the right dimensions for a business card? If it's full bleed you're going to lose some important elements in print.

The logo text does not look right at all. An inner glow rather than inner shadow would help make it stand out but I think the font is a bad choice overall.

Seashore is a good image editing program.

Nothing beats PS - but SS comes close, if it added NEF support and a few other things.. it'd be my sole image prog.

I agree with the text and all that so i tried making a new one but my boss is stuck on this one and he already went ahead and is getting them printed. So its out of my hands now.
