Bought my first Drumkit yesterday and decided to make some snare samples to give something back to the forum!

My first time tuning a snare or even making samples.

It's an Unbranded Steel Snare(along with the rest of the kit) it is pretty generic.

I don't have much information about it, It wasn't looked after very well so I had to take it apart and clean it and Fix the broken bits.

Samples sound good, but I'm having quite weird problem that I don't understand why: I hear some random double hits sometimes, only with these samples. It shouldn't be a midi problem...And those double hits are really random, not always at the same notes.
Anyone else having this kind of problem? I'm using Reaper's Reasamplomatic5000.

Henryjay. I just checked the samples after reading your comment and noticed that Hard Hit 2 appears to have the transient of another sample at the very end. This might be what causes the problem.

If you upload that clip into reaper and cut off this transient the end it should be fine. I'll eventually get around to doing this but and re uploading the zip.
