Here's my free snare sample for you guys. It was a 14"x5,5" metal snare drum and was somewhat goodly tuned.

Fixed the MP3 link.

This is a 14"x5,5" metal snare drum. Top & bottom mics mixed together and then processed it a bit with EQ.
But anyway you can probably use it as a low tom if you want.
