My brother got a new Evans drum head on his Pearl Vision snare and let me borrow it for these samples. Only thing i know about the drum itself is that its an all maple shell.

Mics were a Sennheiser e835 on top and a Shure SM58 on bottom.

Theres a total of 35 hits in the folders. (5 different articulations of 7 different hit types. supersoft, soft, medium, hard, rimshot, rimhit, flam)

I find that its really cracky so i bet it'll fit into some metal mixes and probably some pop punk (fall out boy type) mixes too. I haven't tried these in a mix yet, as i just chopped them up an hour ago.

also this is my first time using Dropbox for downloadable files so if anything becomes unavaliable let me know and i'll try to correct it.

Anyhoo, enough rambling.

First off, I AM NOT COMPLAINING. Just take it as help for the future

I suggest you add all the files in a ".zip" or ".rar" so that it's much easier for you later on if you ever upload anything. Also someone please correct me on this, im not sure I might be wrong but I think when you upload a file on dropbox and there's too much traffic as in too many people downloading the file, they can close down your dropbox account. Again, I might be wrong on that though, not 100% sure.

_Jeff_ I totally understand where you're coming from on the rar and zip files. I'll take this as a lesson learned in uploading things like this. And as far as shutting my Dropbox account, I've heard of That happening but dont know how it works or how to fix it. But hey, I appreciate everyone's thanks so far. I'm glad people actually like the samples enough to download them for free lol.
