The only software reverb I've tried that doesn't sound crap ;) ...used it on drums, sounds good.

I've heard people say it DOESN'T sound good and eats your system resources, but I didn't notice any problems myself. I like how the presets clearly state what they could be used for, and the reverb actually sounds useable in those applications. Tried it on some choir sounds and I liked it a lot. Probably will use it for other stuff too.

So far I'm liking it - I've tried it on drums, guitars, and some synth stuff - so far so good. I had no issues running multiple instances and the amount of system resources being used.

What reverbs do those people use? I really need a good software reverb, this is the only one I've tried that sounds decent.

I don't know, just some people at a finnish musicians forum. Seemed kind of funny how picky they were considering you guys think it's decent, no one even seemed grateful for getting a free reverb. But as I said, I personally think it's easier and faster to tune it up for certain applications than Logic's stock reverbs, and it sounds good to me. On the other hand, I don't remember thinking any reverb's particularily bad except for Behringer shit.

I tried it out and 8 instanced peaked my cpu to 100%, but I was multitasking at the time and I had about 1.5 gigs ram available, BUT WHO THE FUCK NEEDS 8 INSTANCES OF HALL REVERB?

Yeah, don't really know who can really max out their cpu with this reverb on normal use. I'm never sure, because I always have my cpu meters peaking with all kinds of plugins, but for some reason it never caused any artifacts to my audio until I purchased Alchemy. In the case of having about 6 Alchemys open I have to raise my buffer to 128 and all's good again :)

I actually don't understand how this thing deals with everything so well. I often don't have to freeze any tracks, even if I had a few dozen softsynths in use, as well as a few other programs outside Logic. Only problem I get is "disk too slow" sometimes when recording. Ruins the take every time, which sucks.
