Well then I'm clueless . You may need to have your hard drive cleaned for viruses by an expert before you'll be able to do anything more about it.

Thanks anyway. It's a tough situation. I mean, how the fuck am I supposed to rid my PC of you-know-whats (can't actually write it or it'll shut me out) if I can't open an applicable program?

The unmentionables eh? Yeah that's the whole theory of that particular one, to stop you from removing it. I'm not sure if it does anything else other than block the word, but the problem then is that it lets in more of them which will eventually destroy your blender or something.

I have one, but I really have no idea how to enter without using Windows.

Hence the use of a BOOTABLE cd or diskette with an antivirus program on it. I.e. the disk will precede windows and load before it does.

Or you could use BartPE or some other Windows-based LiveCD to do your dirty deeds.

There are some bootable Linux distros that come with Win32 virus scanners as well.

Failing that, just format and reinstall - you probably needed to anyway.

why doesn't someone just download the file and upload it to the RC server with a different name so he can download it, then post the link here? Just an idea.
